Day 118: Home, Sweet Home.

Our NICU journey finally came to an end this afternoon with both boys being discharged together around 3pm.  It is hard to believe that we spent the last 4 months going to and from the hospital everyday - sometimes more than once.  It was a mixed bag of emotions saying goodbye to what we came to know as our extended family of nurses and medical staff at the hospital.  As much of a relief it was to walk out the doors never to return under the same circumstances, it was a bitterseet departure.

Here's a quick re-cap of each boy's status:

Aiden - Eating roughly 3 oz.  Only med he is on is enalapril to regulate his blood pressure.
Head - 14.25"
Length - 20"
Weight - 7lbs 15 3/4 oz.

Jackson - Eating roughly 3 oz.  Only med he is on is enalaprill to regulate his blood pressure.
Head - 13.5"
Length - 20"
Weight - 8lbs 8 1/2 oz.

Aiden - Baby "A" Born 10:25pm naturally.
Head - 9"

Weight - 1lb. 11oz.

Jackson - Baby "B" Born 10:34pm  via cesarean
